You can (after some unknown update!) retrieve your Dark or Glowing Dagger from Legends' Quest!

You will need:

Hatchet

Pickaxe

Machete

Lockpick(s)

Unpowered Orb(s)

30 elemental runes

3 Cosmic Runes

(Optional) Food or healing!

 

**You must not have a dagger in your bank! You may however bring one with you and drop it to get more copies.**

Enter into the Kharazi Jungle Dungeon just as you did for the quest and go through all the skill challenges until you reach the winch room.

Do not go down! Instead, destroy the barrels in the room. You will receive random items, mostly related to the quest, and if you do not have a dagger in your possession, a Glowing or Dark Dagger!

It seems you will only be able to get the variant you had at the end of the quest, however!

No but I saw someone in the GE with one recently, and I'm curious to try ;)

Monsters no longer spawn once you destroy the barrels, and there are particle smoke effects to boot!

Also instead of purely random and mostly low-value items you get quest-related items now.

You can get multiple daggers! You are only able to get the glowing variant.

How do you obtain one to start with? what dialogue or what do you need to do with the hat?

Actually I never had one during the quest so I'm not sure...

Of course this means that you didn't have to go through that dialogue anyway? :)

Bust 'em up! I was actually PMed by a kind person while I was halfway through the dungeon that you cannot already have a dagger in your bank.

The daggers are very common from the barrels though, so don't worry!

I have the regular one, how do you get the version of the one you have wielded ;)

I get the dark variant, I never stabbed Viyeldi on the quest though :(

I don't think I ever had a dagger during the quest and if I did I didn't keep it for long... :mellow:

This dagger has a wide variety of items that it goes with. The barrels are also very fun to break open; its exciting to see what random item shows up. =D

I did the quest back in 2003 in classic actually, and died 3 times losing mine and my friends hatchets at level 76ish :P demon drained my prayer to 0 and ripped me to pieces ;)

 

I didn't stab the mad-hatter though.

 

But I learned something for once about the game thanks to you, and there's me thinking I knew pretty much everything :thumbsup:

You need; A lockpick, A pickaxe, A unpowered orb & charge spell for the final door (air charge on door with item in inv is fine).

 

You need to

 

1. search the rock to squeeze into (in the north west corner of the khazari jungle).

2. go to the bookcase with a search option and sneak behind.

3. use lockpick with door and click it open.

4. mine 3 giant boulders.

5. push the door and run past deathwings.

6. right click jump over crumbled-wall.

7. use the wall and go into room with lots of ponds

8. use charge-orb spell with door.

9. break the barrels for dagger, drop and destroy more for replicas, then pick that up and drop it again for more ;)
