yes, but theres no reason not to do conc. gold.

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

CR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size.

It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

LRC is much easier than granite powermining, profits nicely for afking a skill, or you can combine smithing and magic with it as well.

Granite's like 10k xp/hour faster, so whether or not that 10k xp is worth sacrificing the 200k gp from conc. gold is up to you.

And quite possibly your sanity.

99 mining > sanity

Mining isn't a particularly great way of making money as it is very slow so while the 40m at the end might seem good, in the time it takes you to get to 99 you could have probably earned a lot more doing other things. You probably wont be able to do 80-99 mining in one go either. If you do want 99 mining and the money for farming, do like Bedman suggested and do several Torstol runs daily and make use of MTK as well and if you can be bothered do dailies like buying battle-staves and the like.
