Max F2P incomes?

Featured Replies

I'm trying to make myself more efficient, so I want to know the absolute highest possible method of making money in F2P.

Merching would be number one, but conventionally, I would guess at rune mining.

Are F2P rune mining rates particularly different from members? A few guides put rune mining at about 600-800k/hr.

Also, are there any other methods of f2p money making that even come close to rune mining?

I estimate wines of zamorak at about 120-130k an hour, but I'd like some rates on lobsters (i assume noting them with the guy is fastest)

and yews (behind varrock palace? Any other good places?)

I don't know about any monsters F2P can effectively hunt for cash, do any exist?

And is there something obscure which I've completely left out?

Hmmm....

I need a new siggy, get round to doing it later.

Probably.

Merchanting would of course be number one, assuming you know what you're doing.

And Rune mining would follow, but that's on the assumption that you get both rune rocks without fail every world switch.

I think the next best method would be 99 RC. At 10X airs per rune essence you're making just over 2k a run. I haven't timed it, but I have mined rune and crafted airs, and I believe that I can get more profit from airs than Runite. With Runite there's a chance that you'll get rune ores on the world you switch to, where as with RC it's a constant guaranteed profit.

RC would take a hell of a lot longer than 85 Mining, but I believe RC is probably one of the best money makers F2P. :)

LOOL, if he is f2p i doubt he will even get close to 99 rc, its virtually impossible. Best is probsbly rune mining, if you want to be cosistent and get rune every world then wildy is best but you get attacked by revs plus quite far away from bank. Merchanting is good if you know what your doing but is unreliable. GOP is good for selling water talis.

so I want to know the absolute highest possible method of making money in F2P.

There wasn't any mention of whether the money maker should be difficult or not.

Ye, but i really doubt if he is f2p that he has 99 rc

Yes, but even getting to 99 rc itself can make you hundreds of mils.

Runecrafting airs/waters/earths, Great Orb Project, Fist of Guthix, and Iron/Runite mining are all very good methods. Don't bother with lobsters or yews, they are just wasting your time. (Unless you like earning max gp in your skills anyway.)

Your probably right, but what i am trying to say that if you dont play it much that in the time you spend training rc and getting to 99 you will have made alot of money rune mining and it will take ages to balance out?

Buying muddy keys off of the GE then mass opening the chest I believe to be the quickest theoretical gp/hr.

Possibly.

Right now calum9 is 73 mining and 60 runecrafting.

If he made airs right now, and crafted 28 per trip, that would be 784GP profit per run.

Now this is making profit right from the beginning. Maybe not much, but still a nice profit for F2P.

As for his mining, he could mine ores and bank them, but it seems efficiency is what he's looking for, in which case power mining iron would be his best bet.

So until he actually got 85 mining, he wouldn't be profiting at all.

I think once free trade comes back then air running will become a pretty big business again, and once he hits 77 (8x airs) he'll probably begin to profit from being a crafter for runners.

I think in the long run Runecrafting may be the better option, seeing as it's a guaranteed profit, and you don't have to worry about rev's/pkers.

Some people prefer rune mining instead though, and would argue with me forever that it's always and will always be the best money maker.

I guess it comes down to personal opinion really.
