Armadyl Solo

Decided to go back to armadyl for a bit and was just wondering what i should be using for gear. Currently my armor is:

 

Helm: Verac's Helm

Body: Arma Chestplate

Legs: Arma Skirt

Necklace: Fury

Boots: Rangers

Gloves: Zamorak Vambs

Ring: Archers

Shield: DFS

Weapon: Rune Cbow

 

Some items I was considering was Arma Helm, Ranging Ammy, and Spectral. So my questions are:

1)Should I switch out some of my current armor for any of those?

2)Does Chaotic Cbow make that much of a difference from Rune?

3)Is my fm level good enough for a hand cannon?

4)Should I be considering Void?

5)Also, I'm using a yak until I run out of supplies. Should I go with a steel titan or uni instead?

 

Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure I don't die much or get crashed a lot. Thanks for the advice in advance.

setup is pretty standard. If you wanna get chaotic cbow its pretty good but not really needed. yak with 2 unis in bag is pretty good if you wanna be there for quite a while.

In my experience, void or a hand cannon will sacrifice too much defense to stay very long. From what I've heard a chaotic crossbow is a huge step over a rune one, however I can't attest to that myself.

I'd go with the spectral and chaotic crossbow. If you have them, barrows gloves would be superior to zamorak bracers I think (not a big deal though).

 

Step by step:

1 - Spectral, ccbow

2 - Yes, but only on bosses. On for example frost dragons it really doesn't matter.

3 - You shouldn't be using one, as Nifflin said.

4 - As 3.

5 - It depends on how fast you can bank and get kc, overall I'd use a yak then a unicorn, but use a steel titan if you want to avoid crashers. If you are very experienced you could use a combination of elite void deflector w/ acp, chaotic crossbow and steel titan to get very fast kills, but you will take a lot of damage and you will have short trips.
