Ezkaton
Well seeing as today I'll probably get 93 slayer and therefore be able to have Ice Stryke worm tasks I was wondering what a good set up and invo is and what summoning familiar to use? Any tips would be much appreciated :) Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.2672nd person to reach 2496 total. Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D
Quyneax
Depends, if you are maging you use either a wolpertinger or a yak (with overloads). Pray mage and stay out of melee range (next to a wall prevents burrowing). I don't know the kill rates though. Obtaurian
A good setup is: Full slay helmArcane stream necklaceAhrim's top/bottomInfinity bootsBarrows glovesFire capeUnholy bookStaff of Light/Chaotic staffSeer's Ring (i) That'll give you plenty of prayer bonus and more than enough accuracy. Pray mage, use a wolper with scrolls or yak with overloads (like Enaid said), always stand next to an obstacle so they don't burrow. For invent, just make sure you have an extra wolper pouch or two, scrolls, and around 12-15 prayer potions, plus whatever knick-knacks you like to use. You don't really need a special weapon, but maybe bring EEE in case you make a mistake or something. They drop sharks, though. You'll wanna leave plenty of invent space open for the noted drops. I'm not sure about kill rates, but you can expect ~200k mage exp per task on average. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
Shadiochao
I would advise against overloads if you can use a wolpertinger 5 scrolls costs less than 2k, but an overload is at least 20 times that and there is little to no difference in kill speed
