You can get strange rocks for crafting from blowing molten glass into unpowered orbs, not just from making molten glass.

I just got both rocks within 400 orbs.

Hi, I've been working on scattered hearts and I found out making unpowered orbs got me strange rocks. Looking at the guide, I thought it was only making molten glass, but it's using the molten glass as well can give rocks. I wasn't sure if that was implied but by the wording, it didn't sound like it.

It does not list every possible way to get them as that'd be MASSIVE for most skills. It just lists the ways that have proven to give rocks more frequently.
