Hey, So basicly my runescape browser screen will go black or with the windows client (that i rage uninstalled :-?) it would just close. I am getting these hs_er_pid with a couple numbers, on my desktop and a notpad document. They basicly say "A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment" then a bunch of what looks to be javascript coding. So i get these after playing like 10 minutes of RS.

I have the latest version of Java, I have even uninstalled java and reinstalled. I also have the latest version of IE.

So if anyone could please help? I can post more of what are in these notpad documents if that would help.

What ones do you wan't at a look in my trash bin I have like 6 differnt types from today(number wise)? or do they all say the same thing?

I have tried IE 8, and 9. Should I try googles browser?

Seems to be crashing on Chrome, but no hs err pid shows up, but I get a white screen, have to refresh and reload..

EDIT: So if I downloaded the IE 9 would that be 64 bit, can't seem to find it on the microsoft website.

I have exactly IE9-Windows7-x64-enu and jre-6u23-windows-x64.

In the link you gave me it says that is for Vista, I have the same thing but for Windows 7.

Hmm.. it says x86 lol.

I will reinstall the 64x and see what it says then.

I have the x64 installed but it isn't showing up..

It wouldn't even show up as x64 jvm though.

I am gonna take all Java off and start fresh, if that dosn't work then.. I guess I will be done with RS for a while.. :cry:

This bug seems to have nothing to do with Java.

This is a dll of RuneScape. Judging from the name, it contains functions for the hardware graphics modes (DirectX, OpenGL).

 

I think switching to the software mode would avoid hw3d.dll completely.

I belive I had that installer before and it would just close its self.

So I uninstalled it, although I will give it another shot.
