Gravite Rapier/longsword vs Rune Scimitar

Featured Replies

Ok, so I already know that the gravite rapier and longsword are both general not worth getting for f2p, because the cost is too high for the small boost compared to the rune scimtar, but I'm just curious...

at what income would the gravite rapier and longsword actually be better to use then the rune scimtar?

The stats for the rune scimitar are as follows

+7 stab

+45 slash

+44 strength

At 99 strength, the max hit in f2p according to the tip.it max hit calculator is 275*

The stats for the gravite rapier are as follows

+50 stab

+9 slash

+48 strength

at 99 strength, the max hit in f2p according to the tip.it max hit calculator is 284*

The stats for the Gravite longsword are as follows

+43 stab

+53 slash

+54 strength

At 99 strength, the max hit in f2p according to the tip.it max hit calculator is 314*

Assume I pay the full 1m to repair weapons, assume the monsters I'm fighting do not have a specific weakness, they have the same stab defense as they do slash defense.

Paying the full 1m repair costs, at what income would either gravite weapon to be worth using?

Assume I pay 100k + 10k tokens to rapier weapons, continue assuming the monsters I'm fighting do not have a specific weakness.

What income would they become worth using then?

*The max hits are factoring in a strength amulet, rune berserker shield, rune gauntlets, as well as a strength potion and 15% strength prayer. Not just the weapons alone

The only way it'd be feasable would be if you made 250k per hour using it, which is near-impossible in f2p....

I think this is accurate. Seems like it...

But, on a side note. Isn't a G2H actually better for training because of it's slightly faster attack speed over a normal 2H, and it's sheer str bonus?

I know...this is purely out of curiousity, I simply want to know what income is required for these weapons to be worth using. I don't expect a reasonable answer.

Gravite rapier max hit is 284 compared to 275 of rune scim.

that is a 3.27% increase in damage at a cost of 10k per hour

that means in 1 hr of using rune scim you can get the same exp with gravite rapier in 58 minutes and 6 seconds.

so you are paying 10k per hour to save 1 minute and 54 seconds.

if you can make 315k per hour in any way shape or form in f2p the gravite rapier is worth using

ofc this doesn't include time getting the dung tokens

if you pay the 1m recharge cost then that number multiplies to 3.15m ofc since its 10x cost

not gonna bother with gravite longsword that thing is a waste of bank space
