They say cannon accuracy is a mapped from the accuracy of the weapon you're currently using.Meaning 1 cannonball shot will save you roughly the same amount of time, whether or not the cannon is firing at 5000 cballs or 1000 cballs per hour.based on this logic, I set up a cannon anywhere I can. One thing to note, is that a cannon his a solid 300 dmg max hit, regardless of what weapons you are wielding.So the higher your max hit, the less worthwhile the cannon becomes.(cannon shots are thought to be a map of your accuracy, so your accuracy *might* not be of relevance) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Grimy_Bunyip Posted January 25, 2011 Share Posted January 25, 2011 this is helpful, maybe i shouldn't use a cannon then, since im using a rapier with exts and maxed equipment(145 str bonus total)if you have rapier, ext, and maxed equipment, you should be able to make so much money monster hunting, that a cannon is ALWAYS justified even if it's in a single combat zone.
