Ivy Chopping

Featured Replies

I am trying to get 99 WC. I have level 91 right now. But for some reason im only getting 55k an hour using a dragon hatchet. It makes no sense. Does anyone have any idea?

Hax?

Idk maybe try sawmill training and see if you fare better there? It's happened to me too. I guess Ivy just doesn't like some of us.

I think ivy and doing the sawmill are the fastest ways to get xp. I'm currently cutting ivy for 99 WC and I'm at 93. I'm not so sure what my rate is, but it's probably around 60k-75k an hour.

A couple years ago, I got 99 wc. But back then, there was no ivy or sawmill :P But what there was sc tools. I used the sc hatchet to do my chopping.. on magic trees. I didn't really look at the xp I was getting, but I got 91-99wc in about 3 months, (or my summer ;)) If you want to make money, cut Magic trees (as I got a lot of money ;)) But whatever you chop, use the sc tools! (Btw, a full inventory if magic logs + sc tools = 14k)

I'm 99 Woodcutting, and I only managed a max of 60k xp an hour with a dragon hatchet from 93-98. It was never THAT quick, but better than any other method I guess.

1. using SC tools is slower then using a d hatchet/adze.

2. mages are NOT good money. If you want money you should cut yews, or even better do teaks/ivy/sawmill, then do a better money making source.

It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

Lumberjack might boost xp rates, but not that much really. A beaver may help as well. But yeah, go with ivy at the current rate or sawmill.
