January 29, 201115 yr Hey mate, I registered to for reply to this post. I was the first ever Barrows Pure/Staker, my stats were 70-30-70 at one point and I used Torags + Shield (forgot which one sorry) + whipe and I also used Full Veracs. I was doing this while people were still grinding for barrows armour for their mains. You will be at low combat and make sure you keep 0 prayer, basically you will be relying on your attack and defense plus the Barrow armour to carry you through fights and you will rarely lose, unless you come across someone who is the same as you, which I never did when I was using those stats since I was the first one. I haven't played for many years, so I don't know if there is better armour than Barrows for 70 defense, but you will clear out anyone at this level with those stats, just wield full rune and a dragon long sword then switch over once you start the fight.
