I'm curious as to how the've been added into the wild, haven't heard much about them

 

Are they still in the wild?

If so, are they pvp?

They're still in the wild but inside the chaos tunnels themselves it is a safe zone. So unless you go through Surok's tunnel you'll have to go through the wild to get to them. However once inside no one can attack you.
