Alright so at the moment i have about 170m Cashpile and another 100m invested in Bandos, Arma, Claws, and SgS.

I want to buy an Elysian, but i'm about 230m short (if i don't sell anything).

Making 230m will be quite a tough ask. This would meen i'd have to spend quite a few hours doing both TDs and DKs and i'd have to get very lucky if i have any hope of making 230m in a short period of time (i don't want to wait forever to get one).

 

Reasons for wanting an Elysian:

 

1. It should make my DK trips a lot longer and a lot easier, thus giving me more vallue for the pots i bought.

2. With an Elysian i can start thinking about doing Bandos Solos a lot for effectivly. Pots will also last a lot longer and i'll go from 15kill per trip to 20+

3. Armadyl Solos, once again, will become longer, easier.

4. With an Elysian i could start thinking about using a Steel Titan at TDs rather than a Unicorn seeing as the Damage Reduction will make up for any faults in Prayer Switching.

5. Safe PvP will become a lot more fun for me seeing as i won't die ever 2 seconds.

6. I'd be able to last a lot longer when tanking Zammy.

7. Saradomin GW would also become easier, damage wise.

 

So basically, an Elysian will make the game a lot easier and a lot funner.

 

So to get down to the point. Seeing as i am still quite a long way away from getting an Elysian, and seeing as i doubt i'll be able to make 230m without wanting to tear my hair out i have two other options.

I could buy a DFS and a Spectral. Spectral will basically be 3rd best option at Armadyl, Spectral will be good for Zamorak too and maybe even DKs. DFS could do for most of the above mentioned, but it would be less than second best.

Second option is to wait. I could wait it out. Keep on doing my everyday money making methods, try earn as much as i can while hoping for Elysian to drop a bit more.

I've been asking around, and looking around and i ket mixed signals. Some people say it will drop more, others say it will stay stable at 400m.

 

 

So to end the post, what advice could you give me?

It went at 399m earlier but now it's more like 430. It may drop again but I think 400m is reasonable.

 

My advice is to make that 300m... farming + tds should take you months. I know it's a long time but it's all I can offer :(.

All that stuff should drop huge once the market gets flooded with armor/boss drops and such. The only advice I can offer is to try and buy the sigil, and just get a regular blessed shield off wraith drops. I'm pretty sure it'd be cheaper, and thus easier?

No that's not cheaper, in fact it costs a ton of time as the wraith drop rate on elixers is pretty bad. It's an incredibly bad idea to hunt a boss for a particular drop unless it's also good cash (e.g. hunting for a dragon hatchet, dragon claws etc) or if it's the only way you can get said item (Nex on the first day or two). Making money will be faster.

 

For example, divine is now at ~30 claws. Getting 30 claws takes about 9k kills (assuming all other drops pay for the potions). 9k kills takes around 225 hours. In order to get a divine sigil from corp, you must kill probably 1k corps at the very least, if not 2k. So that's 5-10 kills per hour. A common method of hunting corp is the six-man team - that requires 30-60 kills per hour to get a good chance at divine for everyone. Not going to happen. So if you can do solo corp at like 5-10 kills per hour, go for it, otherwise, nevermind. Even then it'll take you 200+ hours to get one, and tds are MUCH more consistent than corping.
