February 9, 201115 yr I've been quite obsessed with Slayer recently. Unfortunately, now that my combat's rising and I'm finding more monsters with magic-based attacks, I need to get my Ranged up to wear black d'hide. What would be the quickest method of obtaining this? [stats in signature]

February 9, 201115 yr Usually the best method is to protect from magic (aberrant spectres) or melee (bloodveld), using a little more prayer bonus than normal. For ranged, go with good darts (adamant is like 50 gp only), void deflector, on yaks. February 9, 201115 yr I recommend just keep on slaying, and range as many of the tasks as you can. Cannonballs are fairly cheap at the moment, so cannon when you can also.
February 10, 201115 yr Ranging tasks is universally slower than meleeing, which costs you money/charms/effigies/xp. Cannon is always good of course :thumbup:. February 10, 201115 yr Yeah, use a cannon. The only task you should need mage defense on is waterfiends, so don't worry about it too much. A cannon will get your ranged up very quickly while you slay. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
