LitterBug Posted February 10, 2011 Share Posted February 10, 2011 Maple is a lot faster but a bit costly.Willows are dirt cheap but a little slower. In the end it's up to you.I'd probably go maple since they're not that expensive (only like ~50 per log) and you can easily make most of that money via RC running or fishing. There a lot faster and only a few gp/xp more.Yes, but in F2P the extra few GP/EXP is probably not worth it seeing as there is very low money making potential (most methods are 50-100k/h). I did 99 FM in F2P years ago with maples to 95, then yews to 99. I only did yews at the end because I was getting impatient, but I usually just tell people to use maples the whole way. Willows = .1 gp/exp = 1.3M to 99 and 144 hours.Maples = .33 gp/exp = 4.3M to 99 and 96 hours.Yews = 2.16 gp/exp = 28M to 99 and 64 hours.(Numbers assume exactly 13M exp to 99 and 1000 logs burned per hour which was my long term average) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
