ill probably end up sounding harsh but i dont mean to :wink:

1st- The rune guy looks like he is standing up - his head would almost be level with the main char.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

the proportion with the tree/main char/hills seems off... either the hill is very small, the tree is very small... or the chars are verry big. thats because the shading behind the main char is the wrong shape - it would follow the shape of the land, instead of being in a straight line...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

also.. with the right leg (our left) the yellow patch that goes over the knee is in the wrong spot.. the foot is facing forwards, so the knee guard/whatever should be centered..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The shading on the bg could be improved, and added to the tree. the coloud needs more detail as well..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

you could also make the head less rounded, by removing some of the side pieces of the helmet, so that the sides of the helmet are straighter

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The detail on the main char and the rune guy is pretty good :wink: you might find it would look even better with slight dithering, or more colour shades. overall, its still a pretty good pixel :)
