Range Pure F2P

Best arrows, swordfish, best armor, best bow. Maybe 90 or so addy arrows. You should be risking around 70k or so, I dunno, it isn't much though. You could start PKing now but your HP level is a bit low. If you use combat to train your magic level up to one less then your range level then your combat level won't increase but you will get some more HP. This will also give you more magic defense as at your level mage > range > melee for pures.

Edit:

Wear this...

Cowl

Leather body

Boots

Green d hide vambs

Green d hide chaps

Maple shortbow

Amulet of Power

90 Addy arrows

Have this in your inventory...

28 swordfish

or 25 swordfish and tele runes

PM me in game anytime

It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet.

That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying.

thanks for the reply. And you're sure that raising magic to one below my range will never affect my combat?

That's kinda the setup I was thinking too.

Well the point is that if you do it through combat you will gain a few HP levels. I personally prefer this on my pure becuase it lowers the KO potential even if I end up a combat level higher from the HP levels. So you might gain one or two combat levels but the trade off is 10 or more HP. Your HP is low enough that mages around your level could easily combo you, so I would consider it worth a combat level or two to have 10 more HP.

using only range at low levels is a disadvantage until you can hit damage faster than the higher f2p mage spells

best setup in f2p normally is 40/45 att, and keep str/range within a few lvls of each other and range/2h for kills.

mages lose out past low levels since range is faster per hit.

Range has minimal KO potential unless they lag/dc/mess up, especially at your level.

The best thing to do would be to hybrid range with melee for KOs.

At such a low lvl, you won't be dealing too much damage, mostly for fun rather than loot. That hp is rather...depressing in my opinion because you can die very easily.

This is just my opinion from personal experience, you want as high range/mage as possible with HP in f2p and keep strength as high as possible without gaining a combat lvl with 40 attack for rune. Practice switching for KOs in duel area/wildy/npcs and such to make sure you're good.

Just my 2 cents from experience.
