Efficient Smithing.

I'm not one to usually care about efficiency but when it comes to something like Smithing i'd like the best Exp Rate i can get. At the moment i am 86 Smithing headed for 99. I'm currently doing Mithril Platebodies and will switch to Adamant once 88 is reached. I've timed myself many times since i started Smithing and it seems that i can only manage about 650 Platebodies per hour (which is about 160k exp per hour with Mithril). Now according to hearsay i should be getting about 210k exp on average (this being without any mousekeys or beeing too intense). Ive also seen that with Adamant i should be getting around 300k Exp per hour. At my current pace i'll be getting about 210k exp per hour with Adamant where i should be getting close to 280k if not 300k.

I'm smithing in Varrock using Varrock Armour 4. I'm not using any familiar. I also use the anvil closest to the door obviously because it shortens my trip to the bank.

 

Now, with that being said, i can't really think of anything that will inprove my exp rate. So where am i going wrong?

Use a bob.

 

Preferably a Yak.

 

Smith x amount, not all.

 

Take out of BOB.

 

and voila...continuous smithing..doubling your inventory space.

Also sc hammers if your not using them.
