Hey,

 

At the moment, i have 75 Magic.

 

Im planning on super-heating ores to level 99.

 

My Questions are:

 

1) What is the best ore to super-heat?

 

2) How much ore roughly would I have to super-heat to get to 99?

 

3) With a budget of around 19m - - how far could I get to that 99?

I would understand if you were asking an efficiency problem - but if you're just asking for rates, might as well calculate it yourself.

Gold Ores are the best with Goldsmith Gaunts. It costs about 25M to go from 75-99 Superheating 220K Gold Ores. There are more efficient ways to get 99 Mage though...especially with 20M.

Im using superheating so i can get the smithing xp aswell.

Well Ok have fun getting 99 Smithing in 90 days and 99 Mage in 140 days...

I always superheated Mithril. Low costs and good magic & smithing xp per hour.

Steel and Iron are a bit faster for Magic, but cost more and give less smithing xp.

So it's your own choice ;)

I don't know why you have some strange attitude towards superheating gold ores.

It's an amazing way to gain both smithing experience and magic experience.

Your smithing experience would be faster then going to a furnace and you would be getting magic experience as well.

Rates have been shown that one can get superheat 2.5k gold ores per hour

That ends up being about 132k magic exp per hour as well as 140k smithing exp as well.

 

Not only is that good, that's one of the best ways to train smithing (as well as magic)
