Boogityboo04
Ok so I finally went and bought a new dell today... I got a Dimension E510 with 1 gig of memory, a Pentium 4 Processor 630 w/HT Technology (3.0GHz,800FSB), a 160 gig hard drive, Windows Media Center Edition, a 48x CD-RW / DVD-ROM Combo Drive, a 19 inch Ultrasharp 1905FP Digital Flat Panel, and integrated graphics and sound. Has anyone had experience with this type of system, and will this be good enough for some gaming? rotalsnarT laciffOSolving the confusion once and for all
Stuart_G
If your going to do some serious gaming, onboard graphics just wont cut it. You'll most likely have to go out and buy a new graphics card of some sort. All the other parts look ok, but if you were going to game, you should have got an AMD, but seeing as youve already got a pentium, you might as well use it. So yeah, a new graphics card of some sort. Find out if youve got AGP or PCI-e and what your budget is for a new graphics card and I or someone else can suggest a card to you.

More than half of LCD monitors have ghosting in gaming so that may be a problem. The onboard graphics card will hold you back alot in gaming. If thats the best you can get go into the bios and set the memory on the graphics to 128mb or as high as it goes. This will take away from RAM you can use to run applications.
