Dungeoneering Questions

Hey all,

 

I trained my Dungeoneering to 60 almost entirely solo, and I'd like to dung in groups right now because I think solo'ing just takes too much time.

The point is that I find it pretty hard to dungeon efficiently. I grouped a few times right now but it didn't went very well and I wasn't sure about what to do. (We completed a large floor in 1 hours 2 mins and got 11K xp, which I find pretty low).

My questions are in fact simple;

- how can you complete dungeons most efficiently? I just don't know what to do, just killing the monsters and doing nothing special. I wish to complete floors faster, and I look up many guides, but I just can't find the best way to train the skill.

- What is the best way to dung in groups? I already tried W148 but I don't know if that is the best way.

- Are there any things you REALLY need in Dung? (i have a katagon platebody and a katagon 2h bound. Im on the lookout for a SSH but I didn't find one so far).

To complete dungeons faster, you need practice. Which means you need to do more group dung'ing. Don't be discouraged if it goes slow at first. Practice memorizing doors, utilising gatestones, prayer flashing, etc. And yes, look for an SSH, and try to get at least 80 attack for a gorg 2h.

 

Practice keying. Memorize potion ingredients, pick up random herbs on the ground, etc.

 

Those things will help you get faster, but the most important thing is to practice.

When i used to train dunge, w117 was the way to go(even though it lagged like hell). I did floors 1-20 small,21-30 med, 31+ large. I always did them in random teams, never soloed(horrible xp imo). I always had a 5 man team, a few low-level players to keep the monsters and bosses as low lvl as possible. Make sure you dont reset the floors until you have done every single floor you can do! This will determine your xp. Oh and i mostly rushed floors 1-30.

To complete dungeons faster you should not kill monsters in a room unless its a gd (guardian door which means u have to kill to get through) and get run through doors trying to open them all and kill the boss as fast as you can,laws cosmics and astrals are the 3 basic runes you should craft at the beginning. And overstocking on food every monster kill just slows you down, keep it at a decent amount. Having a good memorization of key doors helps a lot when keying. Gate doors so you dont have to run back and forth over and over.

 

At lv 60 not many people even in w148 will accept you, your only choice is w117 (besides friends or clans). I guess you should try to do 25-30 5:5 large in w117 at lv 60 and you can get a team for smalls in the other floors or just solo c6 or c1 them.

 

Bind the best 2h you can wield, and your 2nd bind should be a hood, unless you have never seen one then bind a plate.
