Skeleton implying that the condensed version is just the bare bones of the guide. As for the required items, I think it'd be worth them being consistent across both guides. I followed the normal guide, and I ended up bringing a dramen staff (for fairy rings) and wishing I had brought a better pick for when I went to the mines too.
