All that doesn't work are the sound effects (which are the only thing I want to hear!). Sooo... any solutions or suggestions would be appriciated. January 2, 200620 yr lol, go to the wrench screen (right of the logout screen) and turn "sound effects" on. That should fix ur problem. by wrench screen, i mean the screen where ur inventory, stats, and other things are. This screen also controls the brightness and how loud u want ur sound to be.

January 4, 200620 yr I have had similar all the music works but the every day noises like sword fighting etc are missing, I found logging out and then log back in works most of the time, otherwise try clearing cookies possibly?

I've even deleted and reloaded RS, then tried it on the RS client and Internet Explorer (even though they're the same) and Fire Fox (even though sound doesn't work there). I was thinking of like reinstalling java or flash or something like that...? sounds like your whole audio is fubared. find out what brand soundcard you have. check the website and download the latest drivers. if that does not help... it might be your wave engine on your sound card blew but your midi engine is still working. I was soooo happy when I got that annoying Windows honk from clicking something weird, lol.
