Music works in the game, and so does the log-in screen song. All that doesn't work are the sound effects (which are the only thing I want to hear!). Sooo... any solutions or suggestions would be appriciated. Oh, also, I'm using the RS browser that uses Internet Explorer (though am a proud user of firefox otherwise :D ) Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. aznmidget448 Posted January 2, 2006 Share Posted January 2, 2006 lol, go to the wrench screen (right of the logout screen) and turn "sound effects" on. That should fix ur problem. by wrench screen, i mean the screen where ur inventory, stats, and other things are. This screen also controls the brightness and how loud u want ur sound to be. I've even deleted and reloaded RS, then tried it on the RS client and Internet Explorer (even though they're the same) and Fire Fox (even though sound doesn't work there). I was thinking of like reinstalling java or flash or something like that...? sounds like your whole audio is fubared. find out what brand soundcard you have. check the website and download the latest drivers. if that does not help... it might be your wave engine on your sound card blew but your midi engine is still working. I just went and uninstalled, then reinstalled my sound drivers and it fixed it! I was soooo happy when I got that annoying Windows honk from clicking something weird, lol. Mementh Posted January 10, 2006 Share Posted January 10, 2006 OMG! I fixed it!!! Thx sooo much for the suggestions ppl. I just went and uninstalled, then reinstalled my sound drivers and it fixed it! I was soooo happy when I got that annoying Windows honk from clicking something weird, lol. Well... thx again to you Mementh. also... the other smiley sig was cool, the rsc one too... lol, but the rare bunny is the most recognizeable.... though I've always regognized you by that awesome mask avatar, lol. MASK? its a DRD!!!! plus my sig is random The following statement is true.
