Created a new account that I wanted to make a full on pvmer and would like to know. good starter stats for barrows?

70 att and str with 75 def

along with 55 slayer and 60+ Mage

50 Prayer

^Those stats are hypothesized, but how do you think they'd do in terms of a steady two weeks of straight barrowing?

For barrows I'd say, 70 atk/str/range, 82 magic, 40 or 70 defence, desert treasure complete, protect range and mage available. Then just blast through the brothers with ice blitz + salamander, protect on Karil & Ahrim. Range Ahrim with Karil's crossbow or something, and melee Karil (or mage, not sure how that goes) with whip + defender. Use something like full mystic, mage arena cape etc, glory, a cheap shield and have a platebody + platelegs in your inventory for the tunnels.

Don't feel the need to train the slayer for slayer dart you are better off using a black salamander requiring 70 attack, magic and ranged. A high defence level is useful but anything over 70 will suffice. And the higher your magic level the better. Personally I would say anything below 70 isn't that worth it. But then again I started barrowing with 60 something mage and got a guthan's spear in my first 20 chests - back when they were 8mil which allowed me to train my mage level up a bit. So really start whenever you want to get used to barrows in between training your stats to become more effective at it. Higher prayer is really useful there so get as high as you can afford but again anything over 43 will suffice your trips will just be less profitable.

you could also do the house tele method for practically free barrow runs

basicly have an alter in your house and a tele to kryhall (spelling) and do the quests to unlock the shortcuts... although this will slow you down, unless you have dh for tunnel you shouldnt even need pray pots.

i don't play psykick anymore... i play 2ed: "pure fett"

26081 to get 99 herblore
