April 28, 201115 yr Did it with Microsoft Word lolI have a picture I'm trying to make the background for transparent, except it's not white. How did you do it? Come support my max total goal here. (very important)3. welfare tds and get claws4. kill glacors til i get boots5. bandos ffa or more tds til i have around 50m6. realize that it is far too hard to rebuild using steps 3, 4, and 57. give up the vow to never stake again8. go back staking and make your bank back9. if you failed at step #8, Go back to step #110. if you succeed at step #8, you will eventually feel the need to make money for rich people stuff, have a bad day of staking, then get cleaned anywaysPain is just weakness leaving the body.
April 28, 201115 yr Assuming the part you're trying to get rid of is all one color, you can copy and paste the picture into Powerpoint (sorry, not Word!!), select it (click on it),go to the format tab,go to recolor on the far left, set transparent color on the bottom of the list, click the color you want to be transparent on the picture itself!
April 28, 201115 yr Did it with Microsoft Word lolI have a picture I'm trying to make the background for transparent, except it's not white. How did you do it? For images that have multi-coloured backgrounds you can use Paint.net or GIMP. Photoshop if you have the money.I personally use Paint.net as I don't really need anything beyond what it can do, and it's free to use: you can download it here. To make things transparent you use the "magic wand" tool, and by adjusting the tollerance it will select deviant colours from the colour of the pixel you click (e.g. 50% tollerance on red would also select forms of orange, but not white, green or blue colours - 0% tollerance would stop at the smallest difference). If you have any questions or problems with it, feel free to send me a PM. ;) Tip.It Website Crew Leader[hide=Quotes]I love it how Jafje comes outa nowhere and answers my questionsHehe now we know what real life does...drugs, drugs, more drugs. May 1, 201115 yr I'm quite sure I made the white in my picture transparent (I changed it to a different color, and when I selected transparent, it turned white on the white page). But when I uploaded it, it was still just white. I'm trying to make the background of my dragon claws avatar transparent but it doesn't seem to be working. Come support my max total goal here. May 1, 201115 yr Unfortunately things that are anti-aliased won't look good if you only use the Powerpoint method I outlined above. However, to get the white to mostly disappear, you need to save as .png.... Lol sorry, it's just so fun to play around with:... They looked better in-program -.- When working in Powerpoint you can really only do the simplest things as far as *transparency* goes. That said, I did my entire signature in Powerpoint...

That said, I did my entire signature in Powerpoint... :thumbup:It's MUCH easier to do that with an actual program suited for the job. Powerpoint isn't meant to be used as such. That said, with the image quoted above, the result would be this: If you get an original image with somewhat decent quality, and use something like Paint.NET, you would have a decent result, rather than the mess that is the above image. xD Tip.It Website Crew Leader[hide=Quotes]I love it how Jafje comes outa nowhere and answers my questionsHehe now we know what real life does...drugs, drugs, more drugs.
