KugekiDH
Hey guys. Im doing 99 runecrafting and my brother has always said nature runes are AMAZING money even from 44. But seen as im not 57 summoning i'd have to do abyss and I just thought. Is it worth it? One run gets you about 4.4k Cash But one run ( Doing quickest way ) costs one amulet of glory chrage costing 11k each? so that nearly 5k loss? Is this a better way? Do the same but tele to lumbridge then use the canoe to edgeville? Sorry just wondered :D
Quyneax
What? Glory charges are pretty much free, you can just recharge them. This is very very slow xp and generally not worth the additional time it takes to get 99 rc. Fekambard
You need to recharge the glories once they're uncharged underneath Heroes Guild (requires heroes quest) thus you regain charges and it doesn't cost anything. Most people will buy 20+ glories to allow for multiple abyss runs and then recharging the whole lot in one go. Simply, it doesn't cost anything per charge. ;)
Cheat
Nature runes used to be amazing money, one of the best in the game they are now sub-par even at 91. When it comes to crafting nature runes it is indeed profitable, I'm not exactly sure what you mean when you say one amulet of glory charge costs 11k. I think you have a basic misunderstanding of how to use amulet of glory's. They do not disappear when you use up all four the glory does not disintergrate like a ring of duelling but rather simply becomes uncharged. You can recharge it at the heroes guild fountain (Heroes Guild quest needed). It is suggested that you have a number of glorys 5+ at least so you are not constantly doing recharging runs. An alternative method is to use a mounted glory in your player owned house (requiring 47 construction to build) this supplies unlimited glory teleports from your house so you can simply have a stack of house teleports in your inventory costing about 800gp and teleport back to your house and then teleporting to Edgeville. Personally I would not recommend using nature runes to train runecrafting as they are not the fasted xp method and they do not make a significant amount money compared to other methods of moneymaking. My suggestion would be to craft fire runes at the fire altar using rings of duelling until level 50. You can then move on to making combination runes such as steam - I'm not entirely sure of this step don't have personal experience. When you reach level 75 you move on to ZMI runecrafting. Then at level 82 you can choose to move on to crafting astral runes or simply stick to ZMI, at level 91 you can move on to double natures or again stick with ZMI.
