chrisman638
I'd like to continue slaying but wish to train range at the same time. As you can see with my noobish range level i have pretty much no clue what to wear. So here is where you guys come in. I'd assume I would wear an archers ring, rune cross, broad bolts, accumulator, karil's, FSH, amulet of ranging, snake skin boots (err idk rangers aren't an option right now) and barrows gloves while cannoning most tasks. Armadyl isn't an option right now. It can be upgraded to that eventually though. And rangers can be an upgrade as well. Just not right now. Any suggestions on how to train range while slaying are appreciated. Only shooting for 90 range as well.

eee
Use a cannon as often as possible. Chin tasks like nechs etc. Melee other tasks.This. You could get a lot of ranged xp just from cannoning while you finish up defence. But don't use Karil's if you do decide to actually range stuff. It has the same attack bonus as black d'hide and degrades. The rest of your listed setup is fine.

bladekill133
Use darts or knives (I usually use mith darts) on Greaters and Gargoyles too, with ferocious ring. I've never tried on abby demons, but it would probably work there as well. The key is that since darts and knives are so fast, the +40 damage improves them a ton, I can usually kill faster than people using whip without extremes. Use range pots too. Might be worth trying on blue dragons or hellhounds, not sure.

I do have extremes and turmoil so it would probably be faster to just whip some of the kuradal tasks to get back to cannonable tasks.
Obtaurian
Though you've already decided, I'll emphasize that just slaying with a cannon + combat familiars and using darts/knives on greaters/gargs is a great way to amass ranged experience. All of my ranged exp from 70-95 is from using a cannon while slaying. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

Does anyone have an approximate amount of how many cannon balls it will take me per task?

Sounds good, and are you letting the cannon do all the work or are you using melee/cannon? Because that seems like a lot of balls per task. The cannon is just an addition. You should gain access to a bunch of resource dungeons that make cannoning certain tasks even easier. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
