Hello I am thinking of starting to play runescape again I have not been playing for a very very long time and I was planning to start with leveling my combat level up abit so here's my questions.

 

1. I am planing to level up prayer in order to get my combat level up more, and to do this I am wondering if Dragon Bone's @ G-altar is stil the smoothest way to level it up or is there any other way?

 

2. I will need roughly 13K Dragon Bones @ G-altar to get to Prayer level 90, how long time would this take with this method? ( I dont plan to play nearly as hardcore as I have done in the past just 2-3 hours tops a day)

 

3. Is it a good time to be leveling Prayer? (I mean Dragon bone economy wise)

 

 

 

4. My stats are 99 attack 99 str 99 def 80 Prayer 73 Summoning 87 Slayer, 75 Magic. Any good idea on what to farm for rare loot these days? ( Preferably trough combat )

It's a good time to train prayer. Dragon bones on a g alter are best unless you value your time at more then 5m/h. If you have that kind of income then frost dragon bones are best.

If you are willing to spend more for a faster method, frost dragon bones are a viable option. Otherwise stick with d bones.

Considering its only 13k dragon bones you need for level 90 you may as well use those it will take about 11 - 12 hours. Dragon bones are cheaper than they have been recently but who's to say they won't fall further. In case you missed their introduction there is a new prayer book in the game called curses. The two highest level curses are very useful. They are; Soul Split which allows you to heal from dealing damage to other creatures a bit like guthans but a constant effect while the prayer is activated and Turmoil which provides huge boosts to your melee stats - you get these at 92 and 95 prayer respectively so if you have the money to get these then go for it. Concerning farming monsters for rare drops I would honestly suggest that you just carry on with slayer as it will give you charms for summoning and a reasonably good income at your level.

I think il skip the 'Frost Dragon Bone's' part though, it seems abit to expensive for me (though not that big a dif between ~60mil and ~78mil lol). Is it stil the same procedure as in... teleport to house with full inventory and full inventory on a pet and then just use them on altar? (Nothing new on that front, in terms of any item or something that helps to speed up the usage of Guilded-Altar)

Also is Abyssal Demons stil decent for Charms and other loot aswell or do you have any other monster to recommend to me with said stats of: 73 Summoning, 87 Slayer.

13K bones only take 11-12 hours???

With the use of a war tortoise I'm pretty sure that 13k dbones is about that much it might be an hour more but not more than that. Abyssal demons are reasonable for charms yes - they are by no means the best for charms this would either be Waterfiends or Black Demons however they do offer the chance of Abyssal Whips which is a fairly attractive prospect. But then again abyssal whips are so cheap now they're not gonna make you much money so you may as well gather charms at waterfiends and make your money somewhere else.

yes, although a new type of bone is out that is almost as good a gp to xp ratio as dbones but is much faster (frost dragon bones).

i dont know the answer to that one, but if your getting 90 prayer, dont, get 95 prayer. (look up prayer guide -> curses)

i should think so, all the bots around can only lowwer the price of d bones. idk though.

level your mage and summoning a bit, and kill Nex.

I don't even need to tell you she has good drops, just that her combat level is 1001.

 

if you dont want to do that, kill tormented demons.
