Solo PvM

Hello all,

 

Soon ill finish my summ goal, and ill be able to use yak :) after that i'm planing to start making cash for turmoil. 82-95 pray ~150m. I already decided how i want to make it.

I'm more luck seeker than a grinder. Heres my list what im planing to do:

 

(all solo, i will do pvm with teams also, but this topic for solo purpose)

Tormented demons

Revenants

Chaos dwarf (for d pick)

Saradomin GWD

Armadyl GWD

 

I'm familiar with them all. So what i seek from this topic is tips, little summary how u guys solo them. For ect: i would like to see your gear/inv pic and little discription how u pvm with that setup. :)

or just a tip would do also. Maybe i should add something more? or skip? If u guys gonna suggest me doing dks, plz add inv/gear setup and how i should kill them, i never been there.

 

I defetly would like to see sara inventory with ovls to solo, cuz i got lowest experience at soloing sara. (inventory setup would help me a lot.)

 

My stats are at sig, and plz assume that i have yak.

I don't know about the others, but I spent days at Chaos Dwarves. In terms of the best setup, you'll probably want to go for a cannon and a unicorn. That'll give you a high killrate and good healing. Pray range and use rapier + your best gear to melee them, usually trying to melee the cannoneers. Dwogres have a higher drop rate of pick, but the rarity versus the number of cannons and shots you'll get from cannoneers should be better. I probably killed about 1k dwarves, got around 15 cannons and over 5k shots.

 

I've heard drop rates from the Dwogre is 1:1300 and cannoneer is 1:1500. Just hearsay though.

hey nomrombom, did u tried cannon yourself? I tryed few times i admit that i get lots of kills, but i also get mage damage from dwogres, and sometimes uni cant keep up, that happends at bad times,

so i just wondering did u tried cannon. Thank you for your tip :)

If it's at all possible, you could consider using blood barrage. I have no idea if that will hit a lot of targets though (and you seem to need melee xp more).

 

If you're taking too much damage from magic you can consider upgrading your gear (e.g. get Karil's + spectral over black hide + bss) if you got some money. If you're not overloading yet, try that too, and use eee specials. With overloads you can use brews. Even with these added costs, I think a cannon should improve your income.

No, I did not actually use the cannon myself. I waited 20 mins to gain non-aggressiveness and then killed cannoneers that were engaged in fighting with the black guard. In this way, you take no damage. It's not very efficient though, which is why I suggested cannon. If you don't use cannon, you could probably start killing right away and use EE + uni.
