Miner_Guy
Hey, basically i dont really understand the prestige thing. My previous progress was 31 (doesnt that mean that was the highest floor of my last reset). i rushed floors 1-10 and then did floor 30 on large and then 31 large, i got 23k for 30 but 16k for 31? For 31 it had prestige 30 and then 31 then average, but 30 had red on it? I know you are suppose to do unlocked floors at the end but that wasnt unlocked so y did i get less exp (i didnt die)
Parkzer
Your progress was 31 not because that was the highest floor you completed before your last reset, but because that's how many floors you completed before resetting. For example, if you completed floors 1, 2, and 30 before resetting, your prestige would be set to 3, not 30. If you did both floors with the same configuration (such as size and complexity), then the amount of prestige experience that you receive will remain constant. The base experience you received for floor 31 would be higher than floor 30. However, there are many other things that could have affected the amount of final total experience you received for that floor, such as not killing all the monsters or not finding all the bonus rooms. It's possible that you killed more monsters and found more bonus rooms on floor 30 than you did on floor 31. Parkzer.com

I would of expected at least 20k. But why did it say prestige 30 in red on the left hand side should it have said prestige 1?
Sy_Accursed
The only time something comes up in red IIRC is the relatively new feature where it gives u the base xp for a lower floor (of the same theme) that you have yet to tick off since last reset. This implies despite what you said you did not complete floor 30 as floor 31 has given you the floor 30 base xp, meaning it was not ticked off. Miner_Guy
i think it was a glitch, i just double checked and i had done 30 and that was before 31. I see no other cause then a glitch as i didnt die and we cleared it well. If i hadnt have done 30 would that give me lower exp?
Sy_Accursed
I reckon u did 31 twice.First time ticked 31 and gave the lvl 31 base xp.Second time it ticked off 30 hence lower base xp and thus lower overall xp Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
Miner_Guy
that could be a possibility as i didnt host either. In the one i thought was 30 i click on floors while in the dungeon and was checking i might of accidentally click 31? Can you do that?
green9090
The number showing up in red means you already completed the floor you did so it ticked off another of the same theme, so that's definitely what happened. That's not a big deal and exactly what you should have done, so don't worry about it. It's always best to do the highest floor you can to tick off the lower floors rather than the other way around. As for the low xp, you said you left a couple of dead ends AND a couple of member rooms unopened. Leaving out even one room is a pretty large chunk of xp (I know it says it's only -1%, but that's a lie-- the base xp for the floor is also calculated based on how many of the rooms you opened). If you left upwards of 4 rooms unopened, the xp penalty would have been pretty huge, so that accounts for the difference. Sy_Accursed
Seems I just got which ones show up in red reversed, still same rough principle though as Green covered very nicely.
