SoL's rune saving with battle robes

Featured Replies

RS wiki states that the SoL's rune saving chance is increased to 50% when used in conjunction with battle robes.

Is this actually correct?

Does this work alongside the robes' chance of supplying catalytics?

Does one gain a partial effect when battle robes are worn without the hood or is the entire set required?

I'm trying to figure out how I should carry out slayer tasks vs metal drags after I max out my melee stats. It's a long way away but I'd like to get a head-start since my magic level is in dire need of being increased.

The SoL effect is increased to 50% and you do still get the robe effect. You do need the full set though so it isn't worth using over the FSH.

Good to know. Thank you. I'll keep checking back in case anyone has new information.

It's more like 60%, but it's definitely not worth using over a FSH on slayer tasks. Battlerobes are really only worth using to burst rock lobsters, and even then I probably wouldn't bother with them.

To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

They aren't worth it even there if you have a decent income. They take too long to charge.

It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet.

That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying.
