dinkydaisy
OK, This is about my third go at pixeling, I'm practicing and figured I would practice faces a bit and shading. I can't work out the hair, I've tried and it comes out messy. Any CC would be welcome :D

misterxman
Not bad head shape, you need to add a lot more shading. When you add shading, remember to have very dark and light tones to show good contrast, giving it 3Dness, shape, and depth, so it doesn̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâôt look flat. Pixel sigs by me.Pixel Art

Very gd tip, which I some how managed to miss being given when I first started pixelling, but then realised tht was fault of my own accord then the nxt pixell I did look soooooooo muhc more 3d etc anyway tht reminded me where'd i put tht wip i was meant to be doing today Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
Aldeon
Pretty good shape I see you have some shading cuz i have really high contrast monitor (actually a 15 ft projection screen) I can see the shades...but barely but you need more contrast in the shades so people can tell the difference and to make it more realistic Most montior settings will make that appear to be one solid color. Theres many different styles of shading Cell shading, gradient shading, random dot type shading, etc. also work on it and get the body right look up an article on google about the human anatomy particular one related to an artsy type subject. As your trying to get shapes and porportions and dont care too much about whats underneath a persons skin. Plus there's lots of people here willing to help you out or give some tips so yah. I also see your kinda new so any constructive criticism you get don't take personally except to better yourself
