Combat Training Help

Featured Replies

I just recently returned to Runescape, and at least for the moment I am a member; the thing is that most fun things in the game (monster hunting and high level quests) require high combat level. Right now I am combat level 53 with Attack: 45 Str: 43 Def: 42 Range:30 Prayer 29 and Magic 45.

Can anyone recommend me a good spot to train? I really have no idea what would be the best spot, right now I usually train against the Moss giants in Varrok Sewers; but I have the suspicion there are better places to train

For now I'd suggest you train at rock crabs. They can be crowded at times, but are good exp for stats like yours.

Yup, rock crabs or experiments if you haven't completed 'Creature of Frenkenstein'. Once you reach 60's across the bored or perhaps earlier I would suggest moving on to slayer.

So Rock Crabs in Rellaka? (I finished Creature of Frenkenstein last week or so) and what do you mean by moving onto slayer? I have 29 Slayer and a current task to kill monkeys (got t from Turael so I can't change it)

I mean that once you reach that level in combat or possibly higher slayer is the most efficient way to train your stats. Before that your slayer tasks will have too easy tasks that will not gain much slayer or combat experience. You will also receive totally awful slayer drops at that level. You should do slayer for your combat training because of the effigies/charms that your receive.

Until 85 CB, I would train on Rock Crabs and Experiments. After 85 CB, get 35 Slayer and do Smoking Kills. Then train through Slayer.

Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.

Are they really good? I spend about 1 1/2 hour this morning, and after 30 minutes or so the Rock Crabs stopped reacting to me

Nothing is good at low levels, but they are the best you got.
