Getting serious - cash via slayer?

I just got 99 ranged, which has been a long term goal of mine

Anyway, now I want to work toward max combat, and the conventional wisdom says that the best way to do that is slayer.

I also want to finally finish off Nomad, and also complete the elite achievement diaries.

What I need your help with is, I'm looking for a way to get some "real" money. Right now I have about 50m cash, a pair of ranger boots I got from treasure trails, and I could probably sell some items and get at least 10-20m more.

I do the daily stuff, battlestaffs and such, and I am going to start doing MTK again. I am curious, with my stats, or stats I am close to, is there something I can do to start rolling in the gp's? Or will doing slayer get me the money I want to do the "buyable" (yet expensive) skills.

(first buyable toward finishing elite diaries would probably be 95 prayer, I think I need about 50-55m more, depending on how much stuff I sell, I do have a fair number of dragon bones banked.)

Thank You in advance

CAUTION:THE FOLLOWING ADVICE MAY OR MAY NOT RESULT IN YOUR EXPERIENCING THE PHENOMENON KNOWN AS "FUN" WHILE PLAYING RUNESCAPE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

The most efficient route for you would be this.

1. Dungeoneering for a rapier whilst farming herbs/mtk/dailies etc. Should easily net you around 40 mil if it takes you two weekes to complete.

2. Spend the cash on extremes leaving some for base slayer gear.

3. Continue slaying with piety on every task and using extremes until you have cash for turmoil.

4. Get turmoil (pick frost dragon bones or dragon bones and stick with them. Doing frosts and going back to regular is painful and when I did it I ended up just making the cash for more frost bones).

5. Slay like a boss.

6. Level up summoning as your cash and charms allow.

Herb runs ever 1.5 hours, dailies, and MTK should be done throughout this whole process.

If you would rather make the cash for turmoil before slaying your best bets are green/blue/red dragons. Unf potions with a scroll of cleansing. Or mort myre fungi.

If you haven't done blood runs deep/void stares back/nomads, they will all net you around 650 k+ prayer exp. WGS will also add 400 k. While doing the prereqs for WGS try to pick quests that land you exp lamps to spend on prayer, or reward you with prayer exp. WGS also nets you 3 Milish in cash to help buy more prayer exp.

Hope that helps.

Edit

To break up the boredom you may experience while dging work on herblore habitat for farming juju's. Each ugene seed nets you around 3 mil more profit of your herb runs over the course of the potions made from it.

The above advice is sound. I would add to it though that if you are not already doing tree/fruit tree runs as part of your farming route add them in. They will net a large amount of experience 50k+ per day allowing you to reach 85 farming for torstol farming. Get 4 more hunter levels and start doing herblore habitat hopefully you will end up with some farming juju's and 85 farming. Torstol farming with Juju's is incredibly profitable! I don't know how well quested you are but you may want to spend some time questing for experience before you train dungeoneering then hopefully when you start dungeoneering and doing your herb runs you will being torstol runs :) making you $$'s. You may want to look into flipping as a source of income it can be very good if you have a reasonable cash pile and get the feel of it although it can sometimes be very tedious. Remember part of the point of flipping is it adds to your hourly income passively like farming etc.. So if you are spending your entire time on runescape merching perhaps you'll be making billions but in my opinion this is not how flipping should be used.

I have all the quests already done except nomad's requiem, I've gotton him down to beserk mode, but failed a bunch of times. Quests are my favorite aspect of the game.

I'll look into the hunting habitat thing, and mix it up between dungeoneering and slayer. Unfortunetly, I got most of the my 65 levels in DG by Tears of Guthix, so I have less tokens than I should, but w/e.

Thank You both for the advice.

Not having tokens is fine, they come quickly at higher levels (80+ specifically), be sure to invest into your berserker ring asap (at least T5) as the str boost is more than significant.

Should be noted that if you are about 55m from turmoil, and you dungeoneering to a rapier with farming as Tieszen suggests, you will be very close to turmoil anyway so you might as well get it. Turmoil comes with soul split which is all the healing you need on slayer tasks, and protect magic + antifire + ss flashing can replace superantifire for blue dragons, probably iron dragons, and steel/mithril/black dragons at higher melees.
