g33kkid
I've taken a longgg break from RS but I am back into playing here and there. Upon my return there are many new things that I am unaware of... I was making a pure with current stats 50 att, 52 str, 1 def, 11 prayer (from quests), 82 range, 70 mage. I am curious as to which is the best way to go from here before its too late. Please list types of pures with the stats / weapons used... MUCH appreciated! THANK YOU!
Quyneax
Moved to the Graveyard advice section. I'd say either 60 attack 1 defence pure with high strength, ranged, mage, or the same but questing for 45 defence, which allows you to do quests for turmoil, berserker helmet, handcannon etc.. This is a good overview of what you need to do. You can also get 80 attack for a chaotic weapon, which means you'll be dpsing more with melee than with magic, as you would at 60 attack, and you'll of course be higher combat overall. TC3
I'd say that if you want to be a pure (as in 1-20 defence), stay a low level pure so you don't have to fight zerkers and tanks. By this I mean 75- combat, after that there starts to be a larger number of people with defence who also have decent strength or range. If you just want an account with low or limited defence then a rune pure with 40, 42 or 45 defence would be best. Turmoil is amazing so you should aim to get it at some point on your account. I personally didn't like 45 defence and got 75 early on. Possibly a mistake as I didn't give 45 much of a chance but I'm currently very happy with 75 defence, though 70 would have been better To summarize, stay 1 defence if you like cheap, fast paced pking which will result in money loss almost all the time.Get 40/42/45 defence if you want a low lvl turmoil account with veng, barrows gloves etc.Get 70+ defence if you like hybridding, you will have access to so much awesome gear at 70+ defence and it's just better for bridding. If you want to know more, let me know which of these account types you were thinking of first, then I'll give you a little more info on it.
