Do I have to constantly clear spots to catch different Jadinko?

Featured Replies

Given that Jadinkos only appear when their preferred setup is accomplished, I was wondering if it had to be literally taken like that.

I want to catch Diseased and Cannibal Jadinkos, but they have different requirements.

http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=herblore_habitat.htm#hunter

Cannibal: No Tree, Kalferberry Bush, Green Flower, Tall Grass

Diseased: Banana Tree, no bush, no flower, Boneyard

From Diseased to Cannibal, all I have to do is turn Boneyard into Tall Grass and add stuff.

If I want to go back to Diseased, I can turn the Tall Grass into a Boneyard... but do I have to change everything else too? Do I have to remove the Banana tree and the bush/flower, everything?

Can I just meet the requirements and the extraneous items will be ignored?

Also, are the herb growing times the same with other herbs? Do I really have to wait super long for the growth and all or does this place have accelerated farming?

So say you have the setup for Diseased Jadinkos all set up.

Even if you remove one thing, the setup will remain for the next 20 minutes (iirc)

This allows you to build the environment needed for Cannibal Jadinkos.

However, note that Diseased Jadinkos need a noose to capture and not the maramarsaw plant (sp?).

Catching with a noose is much like tracking a kebbit, it's a non stop thing and having the Cannibal environment ready is not going to be helpful.

Anyhow, note that different Jadinkos will respawn in different places. North of the farm patch/South of the farm patch/etc, so even though you can build the environment for one of them remove it and still have them attracted to the area, the second type of Jadinko you attract may not be attracted to the same place which would make it pretty useless.

In terms of empty patches only the god jadinkos care.

Eg if sara wants pond, red, orange, no bush it will only appear with that EXACT setup.

All other jads only care about what IS there.

Diseased only need boneyard and banana, you can plant any flower or bush you like and they will remain as long as you have the banana tree and boneyard.

Same goes with Cannibal

So you can have:

Banana, Kalferberry, Green flower and just swap between boneyard and tall grass to trigger the type you want. Though cannibal required juju which will wear off from time to tiem.

In fact it's how you do the basic 10 specie catches most efficiently when going for witch doctor.

Plant green, kalfer, banana and boneyard - catch common, carrion and diseased.

Add hunter juju catch cannibal

Red flower and abandonned house get shadow

pond, apple, potion get aquatic

lerger, stones, potion get camo

pit and potion get draconic

blue flower and pond get amphibian

vent and orange tree igneous

1 green, 1 red, 1 blue, 1 kalfer, 1 lerger, 1 banana, 1 apple, 1 orange seed used for all 10 jads and if ur quick it can be done on 1 juju dose too.
