After a bit of backtracking to figure out what I could of done I realize at some point I went to turn on Time Machine and by doing so encrypted my external and had set a password despite deciding not to actually use Time Machine since my external already had all the files I really need and now it can only be opened in Lion..

This is what Apple is showing me..

I'm thinking, because creating a virtualizing Lion is appearing to be a bit more complicated then expected so I'm looking at doing a clean install of Lion, and try to undo whatever I did, then once I get everything worked out, install SL again.

I've got myself in a bit of a mess here ha, but at least by the end of the day I should have everything all sorted out. :P

edit: Finally got everything, back to normal.
