Granted, power supplies are not one that I'd know anything about in that case, as I have not

opened one up as of yet.

I'm not sure if you're talking metaphorically or not, but never open a PSU. Even when unplugged the capacitors hold an electric charge that can throw you across the room at best, and kill you at worst.

Whilst I didn't mean it metaphorically, I appreciate your concern. :)

 

Regardless, I don't really have any plans of looking at power supplies anytime soon.
