Back after 7 months. Need help adjusting

I quit before the new wildy and free trade. I need help with the following subjects:

 

Pking

1) Is pking any different? Any tricks I should know about? I read about the imp box thing and it seems pretty cool to use since I already have a ton of imp boxes. I used to pk in bh trying to get targets and I don't do clans. How can I avoid being lured?

 

Staking

2) Is there a staking guide? I quit before 07 when staking was popular and I wanna try my luck at it, but I've never staked before. Do people stake with range? I know about magic boxing, is there any other way I can stake with my stats?

 

Money making:

3) Slaying - Is slaying still good money? My friends say that slaying sucks now for some reason.

 

4) Frost drags - I used to do this back before there were bots. Is this worth trying again?

 

5) Are there any consistent ways to get money now? I still do farm runs.

 

6) What happened to grimy's spreadsheets? I used to look at them all the time but I can't find them anymore. Are there any other spreadsheets I can look at?

1) Not much of a pker but pk'ing seems to be like it was before Wildy removal. As for getting lured, pretty much just use common sense.

 

2) Not sure of staking guide. Only staking I ever do is boxing which is pretty much all luck.

 

3) A lot of the prices of slayer drops are lower than they were but I still think slaying is still worth it, and you can still make some profit.

 

4) Frost dragons are far too heavily botted now. I've heard you can kill them right after an update and they will be bot free but then theres way too many legit killers.

 

5) Farm runs are still very good money. Doing herblore habitat gets you farming juju potions, and using those, I make ~400k profit per farming run, doing torstols.

If you know how, merchanting is still good money, although at least for flipping, more people seem to have started doing it since free trade, which really cuts down on margins unless you can get a good item.

 

6) Some tipiters, including Grimy, split off to a different forum, and Grimy moved his spreadsheets there.

Some new questions:

 

I just learned about the livid farm. Is it worth doing? Spend 7m and 35 hrs for the spells?

 

Also I learned about the disruption shield. Do pkers use it a lot?

If they're worth it depends on what you do. Like if you RC a lot, the pouch repair one is worth it. (I need to get that.) You said you farm a lot, so you'll probably want remote view in order to check your patches.
