and just to make clear i got the completion chat in the chat box but its not showing as completed

it didnt come with the pop up, just in the chat box. just did another and i got a pop up and the name of the task...

update: i did the smithing one with a boost and it worked fine, said i completed. however when i did it again with greenmans ale for the herb task nothing happened, and its says i havent got the requirements... do i have to use a stew to do it?
