Two questions:

 

1. What is the latest one can join a Soul Wars game and still get tokens/points/whatever reward coinage used?

 

2. What would the approximate magic exp/h and cost (gp/h) of barraging at soul wars?

I think the latest you can join is 14 minutes in the waiting room or 11 minutes in the game (The waiting room is in game time +3 minutes as you wait that long for next game.)

 

I'm not certain on exp or cost an hour but i'd say roughly 250k magic experience an hour with arcane stream necklace and SoL. Roughly 1.5m/hour cost? I don't know. I'd use burst if i were you.
