  1. That was one of my biggest problems at first...."where the hell is my 2h?...oohhhhh"
  2. This. Usually if an update doesn't effect me I don't really care because its not lessening from my current experience...but now I'll never take a look at my, or others', A-Log. And unlike you I find the hi-scores harder to read than before. Not that I ever looked at them regularly, was just nice to have to check things like overall exp/h. As for the in-game portions...I've been having a slightly harder time seeing the stuff in my inventory. :(
  3. The only thing zybez has over tip.it is their clan support/activity. I prefer tip.it for everything else.
  4. lFor Do No Evil: I lured two of them to a pillar far away from their start. The one that summons demons was only attacking from a distance and didn't follow. I then proceeded to get one of them on the outside of the pillar and one on the inside of the pillar (summoning ape was still at his start position). Killed the one on the outside, lured the inside one to the outside, killed him, dealt with the summoning one. Oh and this was with only around 10 handicaps so not too hard in that department. And no spec weapon, never used one yet there as I don't feel like going and buying one just for this. I found the quest monkey fights harder. :/
  5. Not all at once for the handicaps, just once ever. Not sure if you have to win a fight for it to count. Here's the list, IN ORDER, if you nudge, it goes down the list. Thanks for this...was trying to get the sword unlocked and thought I had to get it all in one go. Made it to only pray left both times, but ran into Decaying Avatar before I realized he could be safespotted) and the next time the four from DT. Might have had the DT ones if I remembered to remove poison before entering. Though now I'll just go in and get no pray. :D

  7. Ok, thanks. Its 680 most of the time. I've an ok feel for when to click things to compensate for it though (through ss & turm flashing).
  8. lag can be a factor. If it's there, you might need to hit it slightly early. I prefer to spamclick when in doubt, but you need pretty high apm for that. Click-lag is definitely a factor (roughly .5 seconds, spiking to 1 second at times), but I've been dealing w/ it for so long now I've forgot the timing. I definitely click beforehand, that's a must...but as for the timing, is it when the kill hit lands? Pretty sure it is but was wanting a double-check. Since my lag varies I most definitely won't get it every time, rather I'm trying to figure out when RS needs to receive the click for quickswitching (not when I send that click) and that way I can have a time to shoot for.
  9. What is the timing for quick switching ring classes while in combat? (after a npc dies) No matter how much I try I just can't get it right anymore. :/
  10. This sums up my thoughts. At most they'll downsize and reduce update frequency when the time comes that less people are playing.
  11. I really like that extra 200 (even 100 would be alright) for the next week idea. It would also make T7 Citadel possible for smaller, dedicated clans to achieve.
  12. Based on my experiences it'll eventually just stop happening. About two weeks ago it happened to me once and I got pissed off at it because there's no way I should ever drop to 1-2 fps with the computer I have atm. Not wanting to have to deal with something that shouldn't be happening I played a couple different games (Starcraft2, Civilization5) for about 10 days, came back to RS to dungeoneer a little four days ago, got gravecreeper again and had no problems. Although I'm still not sure why it happened or what caused it to happen then stop happening. My solution is more of a non-solution. :|
  13. Before getting members I had decided Ardougne looked like a great place to go to because it was central and I could teleport directly there, and by extension teleport into the members world. Then I got members and tried teleporting, was upset I couldn't use the spell, ran all the way there (White Wolf Mt. should be flattened) and did Plague City so I could get the teleport.
  14. I keep it on maxed, Direct X, roofs and lighting detail off. The size depends on the activity. If its one where I'm paying more attention to the game and seeing more actually helps me out I use fullscreen. Anything else I use resizable and make the game window narrow, often to watch a show, sometimes to make less distance between my inventory and other things that need to be clicked.
  15. About "If I Had to be a Noob Again, I'd Say No": I agree that there's an unnecessary difficulty with the beginning game, but don't think its in the locations of different activities. I think its good that various skills start in places other than around lumbridge and would instead say that the problem stems from the newbs being newbs and not knowing about the various transport methods. Perhaps giving new players a single dueling ring or, similar to your suggestion, providing a very easy quest with one or two teleport items as rewards would be a good idea. Just going off my experience...I was pissed when I found I could teleport with items.
  16. Understand, you do not have the experience to answer certain questions. Obviously I'd use laws in c1 and was debating if cosmics were useful in normal dungeons. And as some deduced I was wondering if keying/not keying had any impact on usefulness of either bind. @Litter: Thanks for the comment. Their advice made the most sense and was what I was paying attention to. I've just been kicking around still because bad/improper advice annoys me when the poster cannot understand they're not qualified.
  17. People are entitled to give advice even if they know nothing about the topic at hand? DG is the only thing I know much about in rs so I stick to giving advice about it  How the hell can you falsely assume I know nothing on DG? Please, get your facts straight before insulting someone's advice (and I don't mean your advice on DG). The topic wasn't about dg, it was about cosmics vs. laws as an ammo bind. In that aspect you've shown you know little by not providing an intelligent reply regarding the specific topic even after I clarified the slight misunderstanding. If you want to squabble anymore take it to pm or somewhere else, I'd rather not read any more random "I know more than you" comments.
  18. Thanks. Curse low totals :( Yep, kinda the way I was planning on starting with cosmics. People are entitled to give advice even if they know nothing about the topic at hand? DG is the only thing I know much about in rs so I stick to giving advice about it  I agree with you, if you have very good knowledge of the area in question only then reply. Don't worry about me though, I've a very good idea who to listen to and who not to.
  19. Not getting 70 RC on my alt, thanks for the opinion on cosmics vs. laws. Kinda what I figured (laws > cosmics). Surgebox isn't an option. I know pros & cons of laws vs surgebox, wanted to know laws vs cosmics. Same as my reply to fire's post, I know (as you mentioned) it comes down a lot to personal preference between laws and csb. But csb isn't an option for my alt. I s'pose the lack of commenting on cosmics implies they're not even an option. Thanks, I'll be sticking to laws.
  20. Title sums up my question. Assuming <70 RC and no HHB, whats the better ammo bind? Does the need for one or the other change greatly with keying?
  21. Reviving this for a related question. Do you need to have the aura equipped as you get the exp in the 10 skills, or you get the exp and when you equip the aura after gaining the exp? I assume the former, would just like confirmation.
  22. Work orders are a terrible idea. The reason behind having resource caps are so more than a handful of people are needed to skill there. Having work orders would remove any need for the resource cap. I can see that this could make it so that only a handful of people actually need to do the skilling, but I don't see that as an inherently bad thing. These people would be rewarded for their contribution to the clan above and beyond what is asked of them for the week, and people that don't want to do this aren't bothered as long as their work orders are filled. As for work orders removing the need for the resource cap, I disagree. People could only post work orders until their resource cap is met (a tier 1 storage giving 1k cap, meaning 10 work orders). People can only take work orders after they capped their own resources purely through their own skilling and could only take work orders if one of their clanmates posted one. I see other positives to this system as well. Established players can help out newer players in their clan with this system. The newer players that don't normally make money as fast would end up being given money by the established players without it actually being charity. We were all new players at one point, one of the biggest concerns was "how can we afford anything?" I even get asked by players over 100 combat how to make money. If this system allows such players an accessible source of income, that could mean fewer beggers and fewer people tempted to real world trade. Unless some undeniable drawbacks to this system are brought to light, I see the positives outweighing the negatives. Instead of going through all that trouble why not instead have a clan resource cap, then if a clan decides they want to pay newer members/players to collect more all the power to them. The theory itself (paying others to work for you) goes directly against Jagex's reasoning behind a storehouse and individual resource caps "Each individual has a resource cap. This is to limit the amount of work any one individual can do for their clan, so that the load is spread across all clanmates." (http://www.runescape.com/kbase/guid/clan_citadel_production_area). I suppose that paying gp for the work orders could be considered spreading the load, but I disagree. Making gp is quite easy therefore I hardly consider paying others for it anything close to work. When it comes to helping newer members in my clan I often take them to GWD, corp, TD's to give them a chance at some quick cash. It doesn't all have to be about direct cash or max exp/h. Many clans enjoy some community building and helping others by doing things with them rather than just giving them money or paying them for mundane skilling. If the work order idea was to be implemented I'd suggest work orders being around 400-500 resources. It takes no time to get 100 and would result in so much running back and forth to the quartermaster it'd be worse than the skilling there. And a minor concern with the idea is what happens to unfinished work orders? Would the middleman just pocket the gp and laugh? :P
  23. I"d rather not see a GP option, or if there was one have it equate to 3m+ gp/h. If it was less than this I could see many who would rather make money than skill using the gp option, reducing the time players spend in the citadel. As for the poll I voted "no impact" as it wouldn't increase the usefulness/uselessness of the citadels and therefore wouldn't increase the time players spend there. Whats the point of 50 people paying 'x' m/week to upkeep a T7 citadel? I highly doubt they'd use it for much. Really don't like how that was worded "...as most players would not pay". No need to give a specific reason for one of the three options of the poll. Work orders are a terrible idea. The reason behind having resource caps are so more than a handful of people are needed to skill there. Having work orders would remove any need for the resource cap.
