After a A Love Story you can chip teltabs to go to any house portal so its kinda a personal taste issue.

My personal taste is house in yanille (easiest run to bank); then portals for lumby, varrock, fally, ardy, cammy and canafis. Then jsut chip tabs as and when needed to go to taverly, rimmington, pollnivneach, rellekka etc.

As for training generally oak larders til you can do oak doors; though some like mahogany tables for higher xp rate at greater cost.

1. I use the common ones for my portals, and I have Canfis. So I have Varrock, Camelot, Canfis, Lumbridge, Falador and Ardougne for my teleports.

2. It depends on what you are dong with your house. I set mine to Yanille for the bank, and for making tablets and using a gilded altar.

3. No idea.

1. Nearly all of them! The most common configuration is putting your house in Yanille, building two portal rooms, and getting all of the portals apart from Yanille. Also, mount a Glory in an easily accessible Quest Hall for 4 more 'portals'. The more you have, the easier it is to treat your POH as a functional 'hub' instead of just a useless curiosity. With this many 'standard spellbook' teleports at your disposal, it makes keeping your spellbook to Lunars or Ancients for extended periods of time less of a sacrifice.

2. There's a certain amount of personal taste here, and most locations have some good arguments for certain specialists putting your house there, but Yanille is usually the best place. You simply can't beat a nearby bank for functionality. As Sy said, you can chip house tablets with a chisel after doing Love Story, which can send you to all of the house portals (and Trollheim if you do a small task at the end), which makes this much less of an issue.

3. Construction has a selection of extremely fast methods for impractical prices (we're talking hundreds of millions), which I don't think will help you. The most practical method, a balance between speed and cost, is commonly accepted to be repeatedly building and removing Oak Larders while getting your butler (not a demon butler!) to fetch you oak planks from the bank. When you hit 80, move on to Oak Doors with the same method. Conveniently, doing Love Story will also reduce the fee for using the butler, which in turn will reduce your overall costs.

I hope these answer your questions. icon_razz.gif

The others pretty much answered this, but I wanted to add in a few additional comments:

Building a kicthen in the 'dungeon' beside the room with the dungeon door allows you to call your butler and work with him easier.

Teak items may soud like more exp than oak, but the table is alot slower than oak doors and in the end it tends to be faster to use oak for exp/hr. What you really want to look at is how much you want to spend and decide to do either oak or mahogany. You can also use sc hammers (morphic are better- you can choose the tool rather than volatile choosing for you.) which give double exp. This means you will use half as many planks.

Good luck!

Dining room is the one will bell pull to call butler not kitchen.

It's a bit wasteful anyway because its easy enough to get the butler to follow you, just send him to un-note planks with a full inventory then he'll follow you until you take the planks.

Plus iirc you can literally just talk to the butler now and he'll start following you

woops! Yeah dining room.. things havent been the same since I sold my brain to the bartender in Canafis...

I suppose that is true about the butler, but it's easier when you do not have to 'call' him and then lead him thru a large area of the house where he gets stuck. :P
