How much does royal cannon cost?

Im going to get 99 smithing after 99 cons and craft (both banked) how much would it cost me to get some smithing levels at the art workshop for the royal cannon? How long would this take?

It entirely depends what you do.

 

Doing mining tracks stuff is slow as hell but free.

Doing burial armour its relatively cheap and reasonable xp, especially if you do ingot 1 rather than ingot 3 and on iron.

Cannon repair costs a little more but is pretty fast favour.

Ceremonial swords if epic xp but costs and absolutely fortune.

 

Though ceremonial swords if you work the maths out you only need 32% success rate on rune for it to be cheaper than using rune in normal smithing; which is something I guess.

Ceremonial swords work out to 300k+ xp an hour on mith upwards.

 

You need 150% favour to get royal cannon.

If you do cannons you'll get through fairly cheaply and quickly.

Burial armour will give you balance of xp and favour but take longer.

Ceremonial swords may get you through fairly fast favour wise and with a lot of xp but costs a fortune.

 

If you want to buy all rewards to tick off and completionist cape task you'e looking at 440% favour

Ceremonial swords probably would; but the others shouldn't come that high perhaps 10-15mil max

I started doing just the ceremonial swords right when the workshop came out, and I was lv 74 smithing. at the start I used pretty much only coal from mtk each week and got favor and xp pretty quick. While doing the swords you can also repair the pipes, and kill the ancestral spirits for extra favor too. i don't remember exactly how long it took to get the royal cannon doing it casually, but i don't think it was longer then 4 weeks or so of doin 2-3 inventories of swords a week. If you are more dedicated it could go much much faster.
