Will dusting fry my PC?

Just a quick question. Over the past half-year or so I've been mostly able to solve problems myself, but in this case I'm scared to proceed.

I want to dust my comp (both ventilation area and internally), but I'm worried that the moving dust will create static and fry the thing (what happened to the last computer when a repairman opened it up). I may have cleaned the ventilation holes at some point, and I think I can fix that just by removing the siding and cleaning them out, but I honestly have no idea what I'm going to find on the inside and how to clean it without causing damage.

Any advice is appreciated.

Exterior areas: dust at will

Ventilation filters etc: remove and dust or run over with a hoover carefully

Inside the case itself: use a can of compressed air or thoroughly clean and dry an old spray gun (the kind u get window cleans etc in) and use that to spray air to get the dust off the components & out of the case as much as possible. Then you can use a small hoover nozzle to gently pick up from the base of the case carefully or use an anti-static clothe to wipe it out.

For inside the case a soft bristled paint brush will also work.

An electric air pump, like the ones you use to blow up inflaitable beds, has the same effect as a can of compressed air and will be cheaper in the long run.

Why can't the Big Bang be done by the hand of God?

It could have, but it is next to impossible because it also could have been caused by the flying spaghetti monster, or one of the other infinite number of deity possibilities.
