Crossed_Body
I think you should study some facial anatomy and practice while doing so, it would benefit your art tremendously.
SirParagon
I totally love what you're doing here, you remind me of myself  but, I agree with Crossed, perhaps you should practice facial anatomy a little more, It pays off. The main thing I noticed was that you're placing the eyes, ears and nose too high. When you are drawing a face always start with the eyes, they should be drawn at around the half-way point, then everything else can be accurately judged using the position of the eyes. Also try to avoid drawing eyes very big or oddly-shaped, although I know it can be tempting especially if you're into anime like I am. Here's one more tip, regarding symmetry, it can be difficult perfecting symmetry on pencil-paper since you can't just horizontally flip an image like you can on a computer, but you can still view the paper upside down or through a mirror - trust me, you pick up A LOT of symmetry errors if you know what the mirrored image looks like. Here's a (very) quick example I made for you. [hide=example]By no means perfect, but it should give you a general idea[/hide]
