So I'm stuck in F2P purgatory for an indefinite amount of time with a Santa suit on and I got thinking, we only need one more piece to complete the full outfit.

 

We have the hat.

We have the suit.

 

But what else is Santa known to have?

That's right, a TOY BAG.

 

It would act as a beast of burden thing similar to the Cornucopia except it can hold up to 4 items that don't have to be food. It would act like a BoB so you can't story valuables inside, and it would take up the cape slot but require a free shield slot as when you have it equipped, your character would hold it with their left hand with the bag slinged over their left shoulder.

BTW, I can already tell you that your RSOF thread is going to get killed under a mountain of other people coming up with less-useful ideas. That, and with Jagex's current mentality, it's extremely likely something like this would be made a holiday reward for P2P only. Why? Seeing as it would provide a special function, those who are currently in control of Jagex would want to force people to pay $5/month to have access to it. Worse, they might even make it only accessible to those who did the holiday event, unlike the Thanksgiving Cornucopia which could be acquired post-event. Kinda sad, the money-greedy corporate mentality walls we as F2P'ers have to fight against, huh? :(

No support, holiday event items aren't meant to have any actual benefit aside from aesthetics.

 

The actual item suggestion? I think it's really interesting, and I support it, but not from a holiday event.

Unfortunately, what with college and all, I have let the thread get eaten by the page 50 monster.

 

The idea is now for naught. However, I did gather a handful of supporters in the lifetime of the thread.
