118k Big Bones = 38.1m

28k Infernal Ashes = 66.4m

 

Would be nice if I can get Turmoil for 30m cheaper but I don't want it taking forever either.

 

Which one would be the better choice?

ashes of course, 118k big bones will take forever

Ashes. The time you save is time spent boss hunting and making back the excess cash you spent.

Big bones are efficient if you value your time at less than about 350k gp/hr. Infernal ashes are efficient if you value your time over about 500k gp/hr. (In between those two numbers, it's more efficient to use babydragon bones or to use infernal ashes at ectofuntus.) Infernal ashes are the best until somewhere north of 3m gp/hr when ourg bones and frost dragon bones become better.

You could also use frosts and save yourself a lot of sanity too.
