what is the best setup/method for killing these, I am meleeing and I am using karil's, soul cape and whip, with the rest normal gear, bandos gloves, dragon boots, fury, etc... But I only kill like 40 per trip even using a unicorn and praying piety. I must be doing something wrong. I am kiling the ones that require 91 slayer.

Are you praying melee, or just wearing karils? Because they only mage if you're out of range or praying melee otherwise they'll keep meleeing you.

I am praying piety, I tried torags, but got hit a lot by mage attacks.

If they're maging you, then you're doing something wrong.

probably just picking up drops...

I haven't fought the level 91s yet, I just got 91 slayer, but those are pretty hard to do without soul split. I suggest either killing the ones that require 86 slayer or trying to get soul split. Are you going to the table and picking up more food after you run out of food too? And instead of praying piety, I'd suggest pray melee if not soul split, and when you pray melee, don't bring defense armor down, bring armor with good strength bonus if you have it (such as bandos).

 

Oh & I have no idea why you're getting attacked by mage.. Are you positive it's mage?

I figured that they would have a better drop rate for whip vine's so that is why I am doing them. I do not have bandos or soul split. I am hoping to get soul split in a month or so depening on what I can sell and at what price.

 

And yes I was getting hit with Magic when I wore torags, probaly frmo me gathering common fruit drops...

 

I am too worried to get bandos as I dont pay attention to most of my RSing tasks so if I die, I dont want to risk losing anything expensive. I dont even have the graves that last more than 3M, which I should get, BTW...

I would just suggest trying to pray melee then with your setup now, and remember to take food from the table, if you aren't already doing so.

You shouldn't be getting hit more than once by their mage attack if you're just picking up drops, and I've found that their mage attack is very inaccurate even in full melee armour. I'd suggest you wear karil's, d hide or full elite/normal void and pray melee. You should do just fine with that. I'd also suggest pietying because they do have relatively high def so the extra damage is worth it, it only takes 1 minute or two to restock and get back.

I wouldn't wear d'hide. I've found that to be a bad idea against jadinkos.
